5 AAC 30.320 - Fishing periods
Salmon may be taken by set gillnets during the open fishing season only as follows:
(1) in the
Yakataga District, from 9:00 a.m. Sunday through 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, except
that in the Tsiu River, salmon may be taken only from 9:00 a.m. Sunday to 9:00
a.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday to 9:00 a.m. Wednesday;
(2) in the Yakutat District,
(A) from the season opening through the first
Sunday in August, salmon may be taken only from 6:00 a.m. Sunday through 6:00
p.m. Tuesday, except that
(i) in the Alsek
River and adjacent open ocean waters, salmon may be taken only from 12:01 p.m.
Sunday through 12:00 noon Thursday; and
(ii) in the East River and adjacent open
waters, salmon may be taken only from 12:01 p.m. Sunday through 12:00 noon
Wednesday;
(B) from the
first Sunday in August until the closing date, salmon may be taken from 12:01
p.m. Sunday through 12:00 noon Wednesday;
(3) repealed 6/28/97.
