5 AAC 75.027 - Use of explosives or toxicants

(a) The use of any explosive or toxicant for taking any fish in the waters of Alaska is prohibited, except that a shaft tipped with au explosive charge, commonly known as a bangstick or powerbead, or a firearm may be used on board a vessel in salt water to kill a fish caught with legal gear.
(b) Repealed 6/26/2016.
