7 AAC 05.480 - Issuance of permits
A burial-transit permit shall be issued by the local registrar of the registration district where death (or delivery) occurred, upon the presentation for filing of a satisfactory certificate of death or fetal death, completed in accordance with the instructions of the State Registrar; provided that any requirements as to investigation or inquest in such death have been satisfied. Such burial-transit permit may be issued by an agent duly authorized by the State Registrar, other than the local registrar, under circumstances specified by the State Registrar, when the same conditions specified previously have been fulfilled. The burial-transit permit form shall be prescribed and furnished by the State Registrar.
