7 AAC 10.1065 - Food service and preparation
(a) An entity for
which a food service permit is required by the Department of Environmental
Conservation shall meet the applicable requirements of 18 AAC 31. If that
department has set minimum standards for an entity, the entity shall meet those
minimum standards.
(b) An entity
providing care for children shall ensure that any meals or snacks brought from
a child's home are labeled with the child's name and the date.
(c) An entity that is exempt under
18 AAC 31.012 or
18 AAC 31.014 from the
requirements of 18 AAC 31 shall maintain sanitary facilities for the proper
care, storage, refrigeration, and preparation of food. The entity shall ensure
that
(1) for purposes of
AS
17.20.020, food served is not adulterated;
and
(2) fruits and vegetables are
thoroughly washed with potable water before use.
