7 AAC 12.558 - Whole blood glucose monitoring

If a home health agency uses its own equipment to monitor a patient's whole blood glucose levels, the agency must test and calibrate the machine according to the manufacturer's recommendations. If a patient has whole blood glucose equipment, the home health agency must teach the patient the proper use of the equipment.
