7 AAC 47.557 - Eligibility determination
(a) Within 30 days
after the department receives an identifiable application for assistance under
7
AAC 47.555, the department will forward a written
eligibility decision to the applicant. The department will extend the time
period if the department determines that a decision cannot be rendered because
of a factor that is beyond the control of the individual or the
department.
(b) If the department
determines that an individual is eligible, the department will not make
payments for any period before the month that the identifiable application was
received by the department.
(c) If
the department finds that additional information or documentation is necessary
to make an eligibility determination, the department will request the
individual to submit it before the eligibility determination is made.
(d) For purposes of (a) and (b) of this
section, the department will only consider an application as an identifiable
application if the application satisfies the same requirements as those in
7
AAC 45.150 for purposes of the Alaska Temporary
