7 AAC 48.560 - Limited reimbursement for prescribed drugs and medical supplies

(a) Except as provided in this section, the department will pay for prescribed drugs and medical supplies in accordance with 7 AAC 47.271, revised as of July 31, 1998, adopted by reference.

(b) Subject to 7 AAC 48.550(c), for prescriptions filled or refilled on or after July 1, 2004, payment for prescribed drugs is limited to three prescriptions filled or refilled in a calendar month.

(c) On or after July 1, 2004, payment for medical supplies is limited to a 30-day supply of supplies necessary for the monitoring or treatment of the medical condition that makes the recipient eligible under 7 AAC 48.525(b).
