Ariz. Admin. Code § R1-1-110 - Effective Date

A. A rule becomes effective sixty days after a certified original and two copies of the rule and preamble are filed in the office of the secretary of state. A.R.S. § 41-1032.

1. The Council or the Attorney General may allow an effective date earlier than 60 days.

2. An agency may specify an effective date later than 60 days. The effective date shall be included in the rulemaking package.

B.3. If the Council approves an expedited rulemaking, and the agency files it under A.R.S. § 41-1027(I), the expedited rule becomes effective 30 days following publication of the Notice of Final Expedited Rulemaking in the Register. A.R.S. § 41-1027(J)

C.4. A Notice of Recodification is effective on the date filed.
