Ariz. Admin. Code § R12-4-526 - Unlawful Mooring
A. A
person, as defined under A.R.S. §
5-301, shall not
moor, anchor, fasten to the shore, or otherwise secure a watercraft in any
public body of water for more than 14 days within any period of 28 consecutive
days unless:

waters are a special anchorage area as defined under A.R.S. §
5-301,

Authorized for private dock or moorage, or
4.
3. Authorized by the
government agency or private interest having jurisdiction over the
waters.
1. The person moves the watercraft
at least 25 nautical miles from its previous location,
B. A person
shall remove an abandoned or submerged watercraft from public waters within 72
hours of notice by registered mail or personal service of notice to remove such
watercraft.
C. The owner of any
abandoned watercraft shall be responsible for all towing and storage fees
resulting from the removal of the water-craft from public waters.
