Ariz. Admin. Code § R12-5-202 - Appointment of Hearing Officer
A.
The Commissioner may serve as the hearing officer or may appoint a hearing
officer to conduct a hearing under A.R.S. §
37-301.
B. If a hearing officer, for any reason,
cannot continue to preside at the hearing, the Commissioner shall appoint a new
hearing officer.
