Ariz. Admin. Code § R12-5-2306 - Computation of Time; Additional Time after Service by Mail
A. Computation. To compute any period
prescribed or allowed by this Article or order of the Board, the day of the
act, event, or default after which the period begins to run is not included.
The last day of the period is included, unless the last day is a Saturday,
Sunday, or legal holiday, in which event the period runs until the end of the
next day that is not a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday. When the period
prescribed or allowed is 10 days or less, intermediate Saturdays, Sundays, and
legal holidays are excluded in the computation.
B. Service by mail. If a party has a right or
is required to do some act or proceed within a prescribed period after service
of a notice or other paper and if the notice or paper is served by mail, five
calendar days are added to the prescribed period.
