Ariz. Admin. Code § R17-1-604 - Application Processing; Time-frames
A. The Department shall provide notice to the
applicant that the application is either complete or incomplete within five
business days of receiving the application:
1. If the application is complete, the notice
to the applicant shall indicate the date the Department stamped the complete
application as received; or
2. If
the application is incomplete, the notice to the applicant shall indicate the
current date and include an itemized list of all missing information the
Department requires of the applicant before the application can be
processed.
B. An
applicant with an incomplete application shall respond to the notice provided
by the Department under subsection (A)(2) within 10 days after the date
indicated on the notice.
1. The Department
may deny the permit if the applicant fails to provide all required information
within 10 days after the date of the notice.
2. On receipt of all required information,
the Department shall provide to the applicant the notice prescribed under
subsection (A)(1).
C.
The Director shall render a permit decision within 10 business days after the
date an application is determined to be complete. The date of receipt is the
date on the notice provided by the Department to the applicant under subsection
(A)(1) acknowledging receipt of the complete application.
D. For the purpose of A.R.S. §
41-1073, the Department
establishes the following permit time-frames:
1. Administrative completeness review
time-frame: Five business days.
2.
Substantive review time-frame: 10 business days.
3. Overall time-frame: 15 business
days.
