Ariz. Admin. Code § R17-5-620 - Authorization Time Frame; Ignition Interlock Service Provider
A. The Director
shall, within 10 days of the date of receipt of an application for
authorization of an ignition interlock service provider contract, provide
notice to the IISP that the application is either complete or incomplete.
1. The date of receipt is the date the
Director receives the application.
2. If an application is incomplete, the dated
notice shall specifically identify the required information that is
missing.
B. An applicant
with an incomplete application shall provide all missing information to the
Director within 15 days of the Director's notice.
1. After receiving all of the required
information, the Director shall notify the IISP that the application is
complete.
2. The Director may deny
an IISP's application if the IISP fails to provide the required information
within 15 days of the Director's notice.
C. The Director shall render a decision on an
application for authorization within 30 days of the date on the notice
acknowledging receipt of a complete application, provided to the applicant
under subsections (A) or (B).
D. If
the Director denies an application for authorization, the Director shall notify
the IISP in writing within 20 days after the denial, and of the grounds for the
denial in accordance with A.R.S. §
28-1468(E).
E. For the purposes of A.R.S. §
41-1073, the Department
establishes the following time frames for the purpose of reviewing an
application for authorization:
1.
Administrative completeness review time frame: 10 days.
2. Substantive review time frame: 30
days.
3. Overall time frame: 40
days.
F. The Director
shall use this process for reapplication for authorization of an ignition
interlock service provider contract.
