Ariz. Admin. Code § R18-11-305 - Class B+ Reclaimed Water
A.
Class B+ reclaimed water is wastewater that has undergone secondary treatment,
nitrogen removal treatment, and disinfection.
B. An owner of a facility shall ensure that:
1. Class B+ reclaimed water meets the
following criteria after disinfection treatment and before discharge to a
reclaimed water distribution system:
a. The
concentration of fecal coliform organisms in four of the last seven daily
reclaimed water samples is less than 200 / 100 ml.
b. The single sample maximum concentration of
fecal coliform organisms in a reclaimed water sample is less than 800 / 100
ml.
2. The 5-sample
geometric mean concentration of total nitrogen in a reclaimed water sample is
less than 10 mg / L.
C.
Class B+ reclaimed water is not required for a type of direct reuse. A person
may use Class B+ reclaimed water for a type of direct reuse listed as Class B
or Class C in Table A. A person shall not use Class B+ reclaimed water for a
type of direct reuse listed as Class A in Table A.
