Ariz. Admin. Code § R18-12-230 - Spill and Overfill Control
A.
Owners and operators shall ensure that releases due to spilling or overfilling
do not occur. Owners and operators shall ensure, before the transfer is made,
that the volume then available in the tank is greater than the volume of
regulated substance to be transferred to the tank. Owners and operators also
shall ensure that the operation is monitored constantly to prevent overfilling
and spilling. Compliance with this subsection shall be determined in accordance
with the performance standards set forth in
R18-12-281(I).
B. Owners and operators shall report,
investigate, and clean up any spills and overfills in accordance with A.R.S.
§§
49-1004 and
49-1005 and the rules promulgated
thereunder, including
R18-12-251(A)
and R18-12-260.
