Ariz. Admin. Code § R18-4-209 - Unsafe Supplies
The Department may order a public water system to disconnect a source to protect the public health from an acute health risk that is attributable to the source. An acute health risk is posed when one of the following occurs:
1. A violation of a
MCL for total coliform and fecal coliform or E. coli are present that is
attributable to the source,
2. A
violation of the MCL for nitrate or nitrite that is attributable to the source,
or
3. An occurrence of a waterborne
disease outbreak that is attributable to the source.
