Ariz. Admin. Code § R18-5-218 - Lighting
A. A public or
semipublic swimming pool or spa and adjacent deck areas shall be lighted by
natural or artificial means when they are in use.
B. A public or semipublic swimming pool or
spa that is intended to be used at night shall be equipped with artificial
lighting that is designed and spaced so that all parts of the swimming pool or
spa, including the bottom, may be seen without glare.
