Ariz. Admin. Code § R18-9-B905 - Individual Permit Transfer
A. A
permittee may request the Director to transfer an individual permit to a new
permittee. The Director may modify, or revoke and reissue the permit to
identify the new permittee, or make a minor modification to identify the new
permittee.
B. Automatic transfer.
The Director may automatically transfer an individual permit to a new permittee
if:
1. The current permittee notifies the
Director by certified mail at least 30 days in advance of the proposed transfer
date and includes a written agreement between the existing and new permittee
containing a specific date for transfer of permit responsibility, coverage, and
liability between them; and
2. The
Director does not notify the existing permittee and the proposed new permittee
of the Director's intent to modify, or revoke and reissue the permit. A
modification under this subsection may include a minor modification specified
in R18-9-B906(B).
