Ariz. Admin. Code § R19-3-544 - Contract Change Orders and Amendments
A. The procurement officer may extend or
authorize options in a contract provided the price of the extension or option
was evaluated under the contractor's original offer.
B. Any contract change order or amendment or
aggregate change orders or amendments of a contract not covered under
subsection (A) that exceeds 25% of the original contract amount may be executed
only if approved by the budget manager and the procurement officer determines
in writing that the change order or amendment is advantageous to the Lottery
and the price is determined fair and reasonable pursuant to
R19-3-550.
C. The procurement
officer may, in situations in which time or economic considerations preclude
resolicitation, negotiate a reduction to the contract, including scope, price,
and contract requirements in accordance with A.R.S. §
41-2537.
