Ariz. Admin. Code § R2-17-121 - Recording Hearings
A. The
Board shall tape-record the hearing unless it determines there will be a court
reporter and is able to obtain state funds for the cost of the court
reporter.
B. Any party may use a
court reporter to produce a record of the hearing, but that party shall pay for
all costs of the court reporter. Where a hearing is recorded by a party's court
reporter, the Board shall determine whether the tape recording or the court
reporter's recording will be used to prepare the hearing transcript. The Clerk
shall ensure that the proceedings are transcribed and provide copies of the
transcript to the Board at the time the Board meets to consider its decision on
the appeal.
C. Any party that
requests a transcript of the proceeding from the Board shall pay the Clerk a
fee for the cost of copying the transcript.
