Ariz. Admin. Code § R2-7-1007 - Approval of Specific Materials or Services for Set-aside Use
A. ACI, AIB, CNAID
shall submit information to the committee to request approval of the material
or service for mandatory set-aside use. The applicant shall include the
following information:
1. A description of
the specific material or service;
2. The pricing offered;
3. Documentation that the pricing offered is
fair market pricing; and
4.
Information regarding availability.
B. The committee shall evaluate each offered
material or service to determine:
1. The
existence and extent of a need within state governmental units for the material
or service;
2. The ability to
produce and deliver the material or service to meet the reasonable requirements
of the state governmental units; and
3. Whether the offered price for the material
or service is reasonable.
C. The committee may:
1. Approve the requested material or service
for use as a mandatory set-aside contract;
2. Establish a sub-committee to study and
make a recommendation on the request;
3. Request additional information;
4. Deny the request; or
5. Designate the material or service as
available for optional use by a state governmental unit or local public
procurement unit under A.R.S. §
41-2636(E).
