Ariz. Admin. Code § R2-8-512 - Purchasing Service Credit by Check, Cashier's Check, or Money Order

A. An Eligible Member may purchase Service Credit by personal check in the Eligible Member's name, cashier's check, or money order remitted by the Eligible Member.
B. By the due date specified by the method of payment the Eligible Member elected, the Eligible Member shall ensure that the ASRS receives a check, cashier's check, or money order made payable to the ASRS in the amount to purchase the requested Service Credit.

C. If an eligible member purchases service credit by check, cashier's check, or money order in conjunction with one or more rollovers, trustee-to-trustee transfers, or termination pay, the member shall make payment within 30 days after the date the ASRS sends written confirmation that the ASRS received the final rollover, trustee-to-trustee transfer, or termination pay payment.
