Ariz. Admin. Code § R20-5-1529 - Self-Insurance Pool Loss Control and Underwriting Programs
A. A Self-Insurance Pool shall maintain
during all periods of self-insurance a loss control program that includes, at a
minimum, written safety requirements and training programs for all employees of
the members. A Self-Insurance Pool shall ensure that the loss control program
is administered by persons with education, experience, or training in loss
control.
B. A Self-Insurance Pool
shall maintain during all periods of self-insurance an underwriting program
that enables the pool to establish workers' compensation premiums and to fully
discharge the Self-Insurance Pool's obligation to process and pay benefits
required under the Act. A Self-Insurance Pool shall ensure that the
underwriting program is administered by persons with education, experience, or
training in underwriting.
