Ariz. Admin. Code § R21-6-318 - Religious and Cultural Practices
A. The foster parent shall:
1. Protect and support a foster child's right
to participate in the child's religious and cultural practices,
2. Coordinate with the licensing agency or
Child Placing Agency, to provide opportunities for a foster child's
participation in the child's religious and cultural activities, and
3. Not compel a foster child to participate
in the foster parent's religious or cultural activities if it is contrary to
the child's cultural or religious practices or the wishes of the child's birth
parent.
B. If there is a
conflict between the religious or cultural practices of a foster parent and a
foster child, the foster parent shall notify the licensing agency, which shall
notify the Child Placing Agency, so that alternative arrangements may be
made.
