Ariz. Admin. Code § R21-9-211 - Adoption Agency Administrator
A. The adoption agency shall have an
administrator who is responsible for the adoption agency's business
operations.
B. The Administrator
shall have the education and experience described in this subsection.
1. A bachelor's degree from an accredited
college or university and two years of professional experience in a human
services field, one year of which shall have been in a supervisory or
administrative position;
2. A
master's or doctorate degree from an accredited graduate school in business,
public administration, or a human services field, and one year of professional
experience in the human services field; or
3. Five years of experience as the
administrator in a program in a human services field.
C. The Administrator shall:
1. Oversee development and implementation of
the adoption agency's policy and procedures for program and fiscal
operations;
2. Ensure that the
adoption agency achieves and maintains compliance with the requirements of this
Article;
3. Oversee hiring,
evaluation, and discharge of adoption agency personnel in accordance with the
adoption agency's established personnel policies and this Article;
and
4. Establish and supervise
working relationships with other social service agencies within the
community.
D. An
Administrator who directly supervises adoption activities shall also meet the
requirements for a social services director prescribed in R21-9-212.
