Ariz. Admin. Code § R3-7-754 - Downstream Blending Exceptions for Transmix
A. A pipeline or
third-party terminal may blend transmix into Arizona CBG or AZRBOB at a rate
not to exceed 1/4 of one percent by volume. Each pipeline or third-party
terminal shall document the transmix blending (recording each batch and volume
of transmix blended) and maintain the records at the third-party terminal for
two years from the date of blending.
B. One of two methods shall be used to
measure the transmix as it is blended into the product stream:
1. Meters, calibrated at least twice each
year; or
2. Tank gauge as per the
API Manual of Petroleum Measurement Standards.
