Ariz. Admin. Code § R4-24-310 - Substance Abuse Recovery Program
A. Under A.R.S. §
32-2044(8), practicing as a physical therapist or working as a physical therapist assistant
while mentally or physically impaired is grounds for disciplinary
action.
B. The Board shall allow an
impaired licensee or certificate holder to enter into a substance abuse
recovery program rather than conduct a disciplinary proceeding if:
1. The impaired licensee or certificate
holder is qualified under A.R.S. §
32-2050(2),
2. The Board believes the proposed program
will assist the impaired licensee or certificate holder to recover,
and
3. The impaired licensee or
certificate holder enters into the written agreement required under A.R.S.
§
32-2050(3) and (4).
