Ariz. Admin. Code § R4-33-701 - Definitions
In addition to the definitions in R4-33-601, the following definitions apply in this Article:
1.
"CMA" means certified medication assistant, an LNA certified by the Arizona
Board of Nursing under A.R.S. §
32-1650.02.
2. "CNA" means certified nursing assistant,
an individual licensed by the Arizona Board of Nursing under A.R.S. §
32-1645.
3. "DCW" means direct-care
worker, an individual who meets the standards and requirements specified in
Section 1240(A) of the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System policy
manual.
4. "Instruction," as used
in this Article, means the act of teaching knowledge and skills in a classroom
or through the use of technology.
5. "LNA" means licensed nursing assistant, an
individual licensed by the Arizona Board of Nursing under A.R.S. §
32-1645.
6. "Skills training" means
experiential learning focused on acquiring the ability to provide caregiving
services to residents.
