Ariz. Admin. Code § R4-38-102 - Additional Requirements for Applicants Graduated from an Unapproved School of Medicine
In addition to the requirements for a license prescribed in A.R.S. § 32-2912, an applicant who has not graduated from an approved school of medicine shall meet the following:
1. Hold a standard
certificate issued by the Educational Council for Foreign Medical Graduates;
or
2. Complete a Fifth Pathway
program of one academic year of supervised clinical training under the
direction of an approved school of medicine in the United States and upon
completion of the Fifth Pathway program complete a 24-month internship,
residency, or clinical fellowship program accredited by the Accreditation
Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
