Ariz. Admin. Code § R4-6-1104 - Financial and Billing Records
A licensee shall:
1.
Make financial arrangements with a client or the client's legal representative,
third-party payer, or supervisee that are reasonably understandable and conform
to accepted billing practices;
2.
Before entering a therapeutic relationship, clearly explain to a client or the
client's legal representative, all financial arrangements related to
professional services, including the use of collection agencies or legal
measures for nonpayment;
3.
Truthfully represent financial and billing facts to a client or the client's
legal representative, third-party payer, or supervisee regarding services
rendered; and
4. Maintain billing
records, separate from clinical documentation, which correspond with the client
record.
