Ariz. Admin. Code § R6-12-701 - Income Limitations for a Family
A. A family whose net monthly income does not
exceed the income limitations in subsection (C) or (D) shall be considered a
needy family for purposes of determining income eligibility for an assistance
unit.
B. To determine income
eligibility, the Department shall calculate the net monthly income of the
family using the methods listed in
R6-12-508.
C. When the net monthly income of the family
exceeds 100% of the federal poverty level for the number of persons in the
family, the assistance unit is ineligible for CA.
D. When the net monthly income of a family in
which the head of household is a non-parent caretaker relative who is
requesting CA only for a dependent child exceeds 130% of the federal poverty
level for the number of persons in the family, the assistance unit is
ineligible for CA.
E. The income
limitations in subsections (C) and (D) shall not apply to a child only
case.
