Ariz. Admin. Code § R6-4-201 - General Considerations
A. Scope of Vocational Rehabilitation
services to individuals.
1. As appropriate,
the following VR services, as described in 45 CFR 401.40(a) will be available
to individuals:
a. Evaluation of
rehabilitation potential;
b.
Counseling, guidance and referral;
c. Physical and mental restoration
services;
d. Vocational and other
training services;
e.
Maintenance;
f.
Transportation;
g. Services to
members of a handicapped individual's family necessary to the adjustment or
rehabilitation of the handicapped individual;
h. Interpreter services for the
deaf;
i. Reader services,
rehabilitation teaching services, and orientation and mobility services for the
blind;
j. Telecommunications,
sensory and other technological aids and devices;
k. Placement in suitable
employment;
l. Post-employment
services necessary to assist handicapped individuals to maintain suitable
employment;
m. Occupational
licenses, tools, equipment and initial stocks (including livestock) and
supplies; and
n. Other goods and
services which can reasonably be expected to benefit a handicapped individual
in terms of his employability.
B. Vocational Rehabilitation services shall
be provided only by Vocational Rehabilitation personnel and only to clients
determined eligible for such services by Vocational Rehabilitation
personnel.
C. The expenditure of
client service funds shall be initiated and authorized only by Vocational
Rehabilitation personnel.
