Ariz. Admin. Code § R6-5-2404 - Basis for a Hearing
A. A
person will be granted a hearing for any of the following reasons:
1. Right to apply for social services has
been denied.
2. Application is
denied in whole or in part.
3.
Action on an application has not been taken by the Department within 30 days of
the date of application.
4. Service
is suspended, terminated or reduced when such action has occurred as a result
of an eligibility determination.
B. Change in law or policy. A hearing shall
not be granted when a change in federal or state law or policy requires service
adjustments or discontinuance for classes of recipients.
