Ariz. Admin. Code § R6-6-1505 - Setting Requirements for Hcbs Service Providers

A. Except as provided by
R6-6-1521,
the applicant shall cooperate with an initial health and safety inspection by
ensuring the residence or facility which the applicant owns, rents, or leases,
and in which the services are to be provided, if other than the client's home
is fully accessible to an inspector approved by the Division. The health and
safety inspection focuses on such areas as general appearance and cleanliness
of the residence or facility, heating and cooling, ventilation, lighting,
safety hazards, swimming pools, yard, and the storage of toxic materials and
medicines.
B. Except as provided by
R6-6-1521, the applicant shall have a fire department or individual approved by
the Division perform a fire inspection at the time of initial application and
every two years after, on each residence or facility which the applicant owns,
rents, or leases, and in which services are to be provided, unless the services
are provided in the client's home. The applicant shall maintain the results of
the fire inspection on file.
