Ariz. Admin. Code § R7-2-1196 - General Services Administration Contracts
A. The governing board may authorize
purchases under a current General Services Administration contract for
materials or services without complying with the requirements of Articles 10
and 11 if the governing board determines in writing before proceeding with a
General Services Administration contract procurement that all of the following
apply:
1. The price for materials or services
is equal to or less than the contractor's current federal supply contract price
with the General Services Administration and is fair and reasonable.
2. The contractor has indicated in writing
that the contractor is willing to extend the current federal supply contract
pricing, terms and conditions to the school district.
3. The purchase order adequately identifies
the federal supply contract on which the order is based, including the name of
the contractor, contract number and procurement description.
4. The purchase contract is cost effective
based on price, quality and other relevant factors, and is advantageous to the
school district.
B. The
school district shall only purchase materials or services awarded under the
applicable General Services Administration contract.
C. The governing board shall comply with all
federal requirements applicable to state and local government use of General
Services Administration contracts.
