Ariz. Admin. Code § R9-7-447 - Vacating Premises
A. If a
facility has been used for activities involving radioactive material a licensee
shall notify the Department in writing of the intent to vacate the facility no
less than 45 days before relinquishing possession or control of the
facility.
B. If a facility is
contaminated with radioactive material, a licensee vacating the facility shall
decontaminate it using Department-approved procedures.
C. The Department shall inspect a vacated
facility to determine whether it is contaminated with radioactive
material.
