002.01.24 Ark. Code R. 004 - 03.14 Resident Guide License Requirements

It is unlawful for any resident to guide, aid or assist another person, for pay or other consideration, in the taking of any species of wildlife by any means in Arkansas without possessing on the person the appropriate Arkansas licenses and proof of general liability insurance as provided herein:

A. To guide, aid or assist another person, for pay or other consideration, for hunting in Arkansas, the guide must have physical possession of the following:

(1) a valid Arkansas Resident Hunting License;

(2) a valid Arkansas Resident Guide License/Hunting; and

(3) a proof of at least $100,000 general liability insurance coverage for the guide's business operations. Additionally, if hunting will take place on WMAs, the guide must also have physical possession of a valid Arkansas Resident Special Guide License.

B. To guide, aid or assist another person, for pay or other consideration, for fishing in Arkansas, the guide must have physical possession of the following:

(1) a valid Arkansas Resident Fishing License;

(2) a valid Arkansas Resident Guide License/Fishing; and

(3) proof of at least $100,000 general liability insurance coverage for the guide's business operations.

PENALTY: Class 2
