108.00.07 Ark. Code R. 006 - Rules for Nonpartisan Judicial Office Filing Fees
Scope of Rules
These rules and regulations will set forth the procedures for establishing filing fees for nonpartisan judicial offices pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated § 7-10-103. These rules are in addition to and not a substitute for the laws of the State of Arkansas.
A candidate for a nonpartisan judicial office may access the ballot by:
* Paying a filing fee,
* Filing a petition, or
* Filing as a write-in candidate.
The filing period shall begin at 12:00 noon on the first weekday in March and end at 12:00 noon on the seventh day thereafter.
The filing fee for Supreme Court Chief Justice shall be 6% of the annual salary.
The filing fee for Supreme Court Associate Justices shall be 6% of the annual salary.
The filing fee forjudge of the Court of Appeals shall be 5% of the annual salary.
The filing fee for circuit judge shall be 4% of the annual salary.
The filing fee for district judge shall be 3% of the annual salary.
