Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 2, § 503 - Duration Examinations

To establish lists of persons available for duration appointment, the Department may hold duration open examinations and duration promotional examinations. Duration employment lists shall not be used in making regular appointments. The regulations governing the conduct of regular examinations shall govern the conduct of duration examinations.
