Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 22, § 79679 - Dental Service Equipment and Supplies
(a) There shall be equipment, instruments and
supplies maintained to meet the needs of the services offered.
(b) There shall be equipment for
sterilization of instruments and supplies.
(c) All equipment installed shall comply with
standards of infection control as defined by the infection control committee,
whose duties and responsibilities are delineated in Section
79781(d)(2) of
this Chapter.
(d) The following
materials shall be available for immediate use whenever dental treatment is
provided:
(1) Oxygen.
(2) Appropriate drugs.
(3) Resuscitation
equipment.
(e)
Radiographic equipment shall meet the requirements of California Code of
Regulations, Title 17, Chapter 5, Subchapter 4, Group 1, Article 1, commencing
with Section 30100 which is hereby incorporated by reference.
