Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 9, § 30916 - Investigation
(a) An accused ward, including a ward
referred to parole by the Board:
(1) May be
given a polygraph test as prescribed in Section
30965, or
(2) May, upon his request, be given a
polygraph test if:
(A) The ward is accused of
being in possession of contraband and such contraband is found in a place to
which other than staff have access, and
(B) There is no evidence other than the
location of where the contraband was found to link the ward to the possession
of the contraband.
(b) Blood and urine samples may be taken as
prescribed in Section
30948.
(c) If there is sufficient reason to believe
that a ward referred to parole did violate a major institution rule, the parole
rescission process shall be initiated as prescribed in Sections
4660-4666.
