4 CCR 748-1.6 - Certification by Endorsement
The purpose of this Rule is to delineate the requirements for certification by endorsement set forth in section 12-20-202(3), C.R.S.
A. An applicant who holds
a current, valid license or certification as a speech-language pathologist in another jurisdiction or through the federal government, or who holds a
military occupational specialty, as defined in section 24-4-201, C.R.S., may apply for certification by endorsement.
B. An applicant may demonstrate substantially equivalent experience or credentials pursuant to section
12-20-202(3)(d), C.R.S., if
the applicant meets the requirements of Rules 1.4 and 1.5.
C. A endorsement applicant who was licensed or
certified in another jurisdiction on the basis of a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) granted by the American Speech- Language-Hearing
Association in speech-language pathology is be deemed to have met the requirements of Rules 1.4 and 1.5.
