Conn. Agencies Regs. § 21a-408-3 - Requirements for maintaining patient medical records
(a) A physician or APRN shall maintain
medical records, as described in section
19a-14-40 of the Regulations of
Connecticut State Agencies, for all patients for whom the physician or APRN has
issued a written certification.
(b)
A physician or APRN shall make a copy of such medical records reasonably
available to the commissioner, to other state agencies and to state and local
law enforcement agencies for the purpose of enabling the department or other
agency to ensure compliance with the Act and sections
21a-408-1 to 21a-408-72,
inclusive, of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies or for the purpose
of investigating or prosecuting a violation of any provision of the Connecticut
General Statutes or the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies.
