Fla. Admin. Code Ann. R. 29I-7.014 - Advisory Decision-Making
(1) If two or
more of the named parties submit a request for advisory decision-making to the
Regional Planning Council;
(a) The RPC shall
assist the parties to select and retain an appropriate neutral;
(b) The parties may request that the RPC make
the selection; or
(c) The parties
may request the RPC to provide an advisory opinion at a regularly scheduled or
emergency meeting. Parties serving on the Regional Planning Council may excuse
themselves from voting on advisories which directly address their
jurisdiction.
(2) A
neutral handling a dispute must understand Florida growth management issues,
have appropriate experience, and be acceptable to the parties.
(3) The parties shall submit an advisory
decision-making report in accordance with subsection
29I-7.015(4),
F.A.C., of this process at the conclusion.
