Fla. Admin. Code Ann. R. 33-602.231 - Use of Cameras by Visitors
(1) The use
of cameras on state property by visitors is prohibited without the express
consent of the warden. The warden is authorized to approve camera use on a
case-by-case basis when it is determined that it would not be detrimental to
the security and order of the institution.
(2) The photographing of any part of the
institution's physical structure while on state property is prohibited, except
that:
(a) Media officials shall be allowed to
take photographs from areas designated by the warden based on security
concerns; and
(b) Officially
designated department staff shall be allowed to photograph areas of the
physical structure of the institution for investigation, construction or
security purposes.
(3)
Areas in which the general public is prohibited from taking photographs shall
be clearly posted and identified in the institution's visiting policies and
operating procedures.
