Fla. Admin. Code Ann. R. 34-5.0045 - Counsel
(1) Respondent. Respondent may appear on his
or her own behalf or may be represented by a lawyer or other qualified
representative. All notices and communications to a respondent represented by a
lawyer or qualified representative shall be made through the respondent's
lawyer or qualified representative.
(2) Advocate. The Advocate presenting the
matter before the Commission shall be an Assistant Attorney General or another
attorney designated by the Commission as Advocate. The Advocate represents the
Commission in its prosecutorial function.
(3) Complainant. To the limited extent the
complainant is entitled to participate or observe Commission proceedings, the
complainant may be represented by legal counsel or other qualified
representative. All notices and communications to a complainant represented by
a lawyer or qualified representative shall be made through complainant's lawyer
or qualified representative.
(4)
Appearances. Appearances by counsel or other qualified representatives shall be
governed by Rules 28-106.105 and
28-106.106, F.A.C. The
qualifications of a representative shall be determined in accordance with Rule
28-106.106, F.A.C. Qualified
representatives shall observe the standards of conduct specified in Rule
28-106.107,
