Fla. Admin. Code Ann. R. 40C-2.501 - Permit Classification
(1) Each permit
shall be classified by the District according to type of use, source, and
location of withdrawal as a subclass or category of source.
(2) Use Types: Each permit shall be
identified with one or more of the following use classifications:
(a) Agricultural.
(b)
Commercial/Industrial/Institutional.
(c) Environmental.
(d) Landscape/Recreation/Aesthetic.
(e) Mining/Dewatering.
(f) Public Supply.
(g) Other.
(3) Source Types: Each permit shall be
identified with one or more of the following source types:
(a) River, creek, or other
watercourse.
(b) Lake, pond, or
other impoundment.
(c)
Aquifer.
(d) Water
supplier.
(4) Location of
Withdrawal: Each permit shall be classified as to the location from which the
withdrawal is made.
(5) The
Governing Board may establish additional classifications as are reasonably
needed.
