Fla. Admin. Code Ann. R. 61-6.011 - Exemption from Continuing Education Requirements
(1) Starting July 1,
2024, and on at least a weekly basis thereafter, the Department shall determine
the licensees that are exempt from all continuing education requirements for
the current biennial licensure period. Within thirty (30) days from the start
of a biennial licensure cycle, the Department shall determine the licensees who
do not meet all requirements specified in section
455.2124, Florida Statutes, and
are therefore still required to complete all continuing education requirements
for licensure renewal. For the purposes of this determination, the term
"discipline" is defined as a final order entered against a licensee pursuant to
section 455.227, Florida Statutes, for
any violation of chapter 455, Florida Statutes, or any violation of the
licensee's applicable practice act.
(2) Licensees may verify their exemption
status by searching for their license using the Department's online Licensee
