Fla. Admin. Code Ann. R. 61H1-28.0001 - Initial Licensure by Examination
(1)
An applicant seeking to obtain CPA licensure by examination shall first
complete the Application for CPA Examination (DBPR CPA 1, Effective June 2021),
which is hereby incorporated by reference in Rule
61-35.003, F.A.C. The form is
also available on the Department's website and at the Board office located at
240 N.W. 76th Drive, Suite A, Gainesville, FL 32607-6655. Upon approval, the
applicant may sit for the CPA Examination adopted by the Board as referenced in
Rule 61H1-28.0011, F.A.C.
(2) After complying with the eligibility
criteria pursuant to Sections
473.306 and
473.308(2),
F.S., the applicant shall complete the Initial CPA Licensure Application (DBPR
CPA 2, Effective June 2021), which is hereby incorporated by reference in Rule
61-35.003, F.A.C. The form is
also available on the Department's website and at the Board office located at
240 N.W. 76th Drive, Suite A, Gainesville, FL 32607-6655. Upon approval, the
applicant is considered a licensed CPA in the State of
Florida.
