Fla. Admin. Code Ann. R. 62-600.100 - Scope, Intent, Purpose, and Applicability
(1) Standards and requirements in this
chapter shall apply only to domestic wastewater treatment, reuse, and disposal
facilities (including biosolids management facilities). Any reference to
wastewater facility in this chapter means a domestic wastewater
facility.
(2) The standards and
requirements of Parts II and V of Chapter 62-600, and Rule
62-600.500, F.A.C., shall be
applicable to septic systems and other onsite closed-tank wastewater treatment
systems with subsurface disposal regulated by this chapter. The reliability
requirements of paragraph
62-600.400(1)(b),
F.A.C., shall not apply to such septic systems and other onsite closed-tank
wastewater treatment systems.
(3)
The discharge limitation of subsection
62-600.510(5),
F.A.C., shall not be applicable to facilities permitted on or before January 1,
1982, that discharge into Class II waters or Class III waters which are
subsequently reclassified as Class II waters.
